Happy Thanksgiving!

Spent some time on the lake yesterday and will be out for the last ride of the season tomorrow, Friday.

Both the lake levels and the temps have been great for those die-hards who leave their pontoons in past the point of sanity.

We all have much to be thankful for - if you don't agree, then simply look across your dinner table today, or call a family member, a friend, or look-up at the blue sky and breath in another day.

As someone once said, If the only prayer you ever said was "Thank You," that would suffice.

Update

No word yet, from the hearing judge.

Today's water level is 777.01

Despite the DNR winter water level orders being in effect, which results in an artificial draining of the lake during this time of year, Mother Nature has dictated what the water levels will be.

Stay tuned to our website - an announcement is expected at any time.

No Date Certain

I am catching-up on many emails asking about when we can expect a ruling from Judge Coleman.

The date of the last submission of briefs was Oct 27th, so our best guess is 30 days from that date, or Monday, November 27th.

Some have speculated that Judge Coleman may desire to clear his desk of this before the Thanksgiving holiday.

No one can say for certain.

More Info Requested By Judge Coleman

A few weeks ago, last month, Judge Coleman asked the parties for more information on the Consideration of Wetland Impacts that the DNR has made the centerpiece of their opppostition to the RKLD's request.

On Oct 27th, both parties submitted briefs (posted on our site):

DNR Brief

RKLD Brief

Because of this further submission of briefs, the decision from the judge will be pushed back on the calendar.
