We talked about the project. there will be no boat ramp. they're cutting one box elder and some buckthorn and moving it up onto the shoreline. they'll be moving snow so cars can access the lake ice, but assured me that no ground disturbance would be happening. the reference to trucks and backhoe in the article wasn't quite accurate. John said a truck and skid loader will be used to move snow and tree parts out of the way.
