Museum solves 'Mysteries of Mounds'

Visitors to Fort Atkinson's Hoard Historical Museum will become acquainted with the truly original settlers of Jefferson County when "Mysteries of the Mounds" opens to the public this Saturday.

The new permanent exhibit is designed to provide information on the early settlements around Lake Koshkonong, the one-of-a-kind panther intaglio in Fort Atkinson, and Aztalan State Park, as well as the location of the many effigy mounds throughout the area.
