Boat speed restrictions still in place

Funny = No one ever enforces the darn thing...
___________

Water levels on the Rock River are dropping, but authorities reminded boaters Wednesday that slow/no wake orders are still in effect, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Water levels have been receding, authorities said, but are still well above levels that trigger slow/no wake orders, based on a Rock County ordinance.
   Lake Koshkonong is at 8.34
feet, while the river is 7.22 feet in Afton, according to the news release.
Restrictions are required when Lake Koshkonong tops 7.5 feet and the river tops 6.5 feet at Afton, authorities said.
