Major flooding expected along Rock, Crawfish, Sugar and Pecatonica rivers

...The Rock River was above flood stage at 3 p.m. at each river stage location, and major flooding is expected in Newville to nearly 12 feet — above flood stage of 10 feet — by next week. The weather service said once the stage reaches 11.3 feet, knee-deep water floods Blackhawk Road and Lake Koshkonong merges with Mud Lake.
